According to the results of the sixth public opinion poll, experts of the Institute have drawn the following conclusions:

1. The voters make their political choice irrationally. The voters confirm that in making their choice they are guided by their likings and dislikings for the political leaders. A quarter of the respondents say it straight that they won’t take into account the results of activity of the political parties which have representatives in local authorities when taking part in parliamentary voting (25,93%).

2. Ukrainians got used to hearing about pay and pension rise as an election promise that is why it won’t influence their choice. Thus, the voters expect that politicians will promise salary and pension increase (84,22%), medical service improvement (45,34%), repayment of Joint-stock commercial Savings Bank deposits (42,74%), corruption elimination (41,98%), job creation (39,28%). At the same time two thirds of respondents are convinced that the election promises will not be accomplished. Almost 40% of voters are sure that salary and pension increase will not influence their choice.

3. Ukrainian society is rather pessimistic about fairness of election results. One third of respondents consider that the election results will be followed by falsification (33,73%), that the voter will be used at the elections (27,26%). Ukrainian society also pessimistically treats the possibility of its influence on the election result: the state authority won’t improve (32,03%), there is nothing to choose from (24,15%), one voice doesn’t decide the outcome (18,62%)/

4. Two thirds of respondents think that political parties should publicly report about the activity of their ministers from the executive power (68,73%).
